Situated between Muskiz and Zierbena, it is the most western beach in Vizcaya, and also one of the most popular.
The beautiful beach of La Arena, 966 metres long, counts on numerous services. Lifeguards and "hondartzainas" oversee the safety of all users. It is well equipped, with showers, public lavatories, fonts, foot showers and bicycle racks, plus a car park right next to the beach.

Close-by we can find a bar and several leisure areas, with tables, benches, barbecue facilities, sinks, table tennis tables, etc. Moreover, this sand allows us to practise numerous sports activities such as surfing, volleyball and paddle boating.

Also worthy of note is the fine environmental management of La Arena beach, which has been awarded ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certificates.
