Descripción

The Cultural Space that the Basque painter Ignacio Zuloaga -Elgeta 1870- conceived, planned and accomplished between 1910 and 1920, sits on the Santiago sandy area, next to the mouth of the Urola river.

Since 2012, the personally owned Zuloaga, has set itself the task in the 21st Century, of getting across to younger generations, working in the field of contemporary art, and not only the life and works of a 19th-20th century painter but also an analysis and criticism of Zuloaga's development in comparison both to his contemporaries and those who came after him.

Zuloaga is planning to organise talks and exhibitions in collaboration with private, public, national and international museums and others. Similarly, it will be looking into the possibility of promoting contemporary artists by organizing events in the natural surroundings.

Zuloaga is a space created by Ignacio Zuloaga to spread culture and promotion of art.
