Vitoria International Jazz Festival

During the month of July, Vitoria-Gasteiz oozes jazz. The big concerts in Mendizorroza sports centre and in the main theatre, which form the official sites for the festival, take place alongside "Jam Sessions" which can be heard in the city's bars. And if you stroll along the street you may come across a band in pure New Orleans style. All this makes this festival an essential date for jazz fans. Not in vain, it is the only Festival in Spain which is integrated in the International Jazz Festival Organization, which brings together the highest quality jazz events in Europe and the USA. 2014 will see the 38th edition of the festival.
