Ekain Cave, known for its cave paintings from the Magdalenian period, is in the Basque Country, within the prehistoric group of caves of the Bay of Biscay.
* Ekain Foundation (Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa, the Basque Government and Zestoa Town Council) is currently building a replica of the cave, thus allowing this heritage site to fulfil its educational and social function without its conservation being jeopardised.
