Located in the town of Sopuerta (Vizcaya).
Since 1933 it has housed Las Encartaciones Museum.
The Assembly House is one of the most notable historic monuments of Vizcaya, and the most important of Las Encartaciones. The "Juntas Generales" were held here, and in 1394 the Old Charter was granted. The "Juntas Generales" were held under an oak tree in Avellaneda, with the tower, the Casa del Corregidor (Governor's House), the jail and the Hermitage of Ángel Custodio being built subsequently.
